Compass Carter Osborne was retained by Stirling Square Capital Partners (SSCP) to source a Chief Commercial Officer for its portfolio company NFA Group. CCO has a long-standing and successful partnership with SSCP, having worked across their health and social care portfolio.
Reason & Purpose:
The NFA Group were looking to appoint a Chief Commercial Officer who would be responsible for driving commercial improvement and growth in a competitive market, and consolidate NFA Group as the market leader within its space.
Why Compass Carter Osborne?
CCO has a long and successful track record of Chief Commercial Officer placements across the Health and Social Care sector and having previously worked with the CEO, they trusted us to deliver again.

The team targeted senior commercial / BD executives in the wider social care sector, who had a strong understanding of local authorities and contracts; and who had demonstrable network of individuals in that space.
Additionally, CCO mapped and researched sectors which have a heavy regulatory presence, to diversify and broaden the potential talent pool. A shortlist of 6 candidates were presented, of which all 6 were invited to interview.
Outcome:
David Cox joined the business as Chief Commercial Officer. David has experience of working across multiple regulated sectors and his most recent role before NFA, was at Spire Healthcare Group plc, where he was the Group Marketing Director.
