TB100 2026

The Big 100 is a one-day charitable cycling event that aims to bring riders of all abilities together for a shared challenge and a great day out. Historically, participants could choose from a 100km or 100mile route, however we’re delighted to announce an all new 50km route launching in 2026 – making the event more accessible than ever.
The ride follows a carefully planned and fully guided route, with experienced road teams and medically trained support in place throughout, allowing riders to focus on enjoying the experience. More than just a cycle, TB100 has grown into an engaged community event, with riders connecting through training, fundraising and a collective commitment to doing something positive together. All funds raised support Spread a Smile, helping to bring joy to seriously ill children and their families.
Venue
This year the event will be held at the beautiful Hanbury Manor in Ware, Hertfordshire. Riders will benefit from a fully supported ride, breakfast, AM/PM refreshment breaks, lunch, drinks reception, a 3-course dinner and an overnight stay.
Route
Our routes will travel to the north and west, winding its way around the quiet roads and beautiful villages in an area that encompasses 4 counties – Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Essex and Hertfordshire. Along the way we will pass lovely villages such as Much Hadham, Brent Pelham, Wimpole Estate, Cromer Windmill, Knebworth and even a couple of climbs up to Cambridge County Top, Croydon Hill & The Pegston Hills.
Charity – Spread a Smile
Spread a Smile brings joy and laughter to seriously ill children in NHS hospitals and hospices across the country. Through in-person and virtual visits and events, our entertainers, from magicians to musicians, artists, fairies and therapy dogs, enhance wellbeing and help young patients cope with the pain and anxiety of serious illness and hospitalisation.
Last year’s event raised over £15,000 which supported 600 seriously ill children in hospitals and hospices across the UK. Help us raise even more this year.
