Cambridge Wide Open Week (CWOW) is a dynamic, week-long celebration of the city’s thriving life sciences and innovation ecosystem, taking place from 9th to 13th June 2025. Building upon the success of the Cambridge Wide Open Day (CWOD), CWOW offers an expanded platform for showcasing Cambridge’s cutting-edge science, technology, and entrepreneurial ventures.
What to expect at CWOW 2025
CWOW 2025 features a diverse array of events designed to engage professionals, academics, investors, students, and the local community:

Ventures Tour: Kick off the week with immersive tours of leading biotech and life sciences companies, providing insights into groundbreaking research and development.

AZ Exchange: Explore AstraZeneca’s global business mentoring network, which has supported over 300 start-ups with the expertise of more than 200 mentors.

Conexen: A welcoming hub for professionals and founders in pharma, biotech, life sciences, and health tech in Cambridge.

Community Day: The closing day focuses on inspiring young people to explore careers in life sciences, featuring activities and talks aimed at students and educators.

Fringe Events: Throughout the week, enjoy a variety of fringe events, including networking receptions, garden parties, and the Biotech Bikers event on Saturday, 7th June, bringing together professionals who share a passion for cycling.
