The EMED Group is an established healthcare logistics organisation and the UK’s market leading non-emergency patient transport provider. The group completes more than 1.5 million patient journeys per year and enables improved access to health and social care across 4 specialist divisions.
Reason & Purpose
Following a merger and formation of an ambitious growth strategy, the EMED group set out to diversify their service provision and formed 4 divisions that comprised the group.
This led the business to require 2 Managing Directors to scale their new market entries – EMED Safe Care and EMED Community Care. Each Managing Director would require an intimate knowledge of commissioning in their space and be able to devise and execute a successful GTM strategy.
Once embedded, the EMED group had a further requirement for a Managing Director to oversee their core offering, EMED Patient Care. For this mandate, the successful candidate would need experience leading 9-figure business verticals, alongside developed operational improvement and thought leadership abilities.
