Compass Carter Osborne was mandated by Mars Petcare to source an exceptional Group Chief Operating Officer for veterinary portfolio business, AniCura. CCO were mandated the assignment off the back of the exceptional delivery within a further Mars Petcare portfolio companies (Linnaeus Group).
Reason and Purpose:
Under strict mandate to source an established, senior operator within the Consumer Health markets, it was vital the successful candidate would be able to evidence international experience – with a particular focus on growth, transformation, and business integration. The successful candidate would be responsible for a highly acquisitive strategy, spanning more than 15 European countries initially, before targeting further international growth. The role would offer high potential career opportunities within Mars Group long-term.
Mars Group ran an accelerated process to ensure they were able to secure the arriving Group Chief Operating Officer – with much of the process conducted using video technology, before a relocation from the UK to Amsterdam to facilitate the appointment.
