Board Social Care

Achieve Together – Chair

Achieve Together is one of the leading providers of support for people with learning disabilities, autism and associated complex care, providing support to over 2,000 people in more than 350 services across England and Wales.

There has been a significant period of transformation – and were formerly known as Regard and CMG before they merged.

 Reason and Purpose:

Given the scale of Achieve Together, the successful candidate was required to have pedigree, capability and track record in the social care arena. Critically, the prospective Chair needed to have attributes that complimented a newly appointed CEO of the combined assets.

Why Compass Carter Osborne?

CCO was hired for our significant “in sector” track record and were mandated to undertake a rapid-fire diagnostic

of the sector’s leading Chair personnel before undertaking an engagement exercise to source the most relevant and high calibre options.

Search process / methodology:

A thorough examination of the sectors leading Chair’s was undertaken to identify suitable options, before a shortlist was presented to the client.

Outcome:

Compass Carter Osborne’s understanding and reach to all corners of this space ensured a timely and competitive process was concluded successfully and that the incumbent is of a pedigree that benefits the client and sector as a whole.
