Tarquin is a Director at Compass Carter Osborne, where he supports the global life sciences industry with C-suite, and executive leadership appointments.
Deeply networked in the industry, Tarquin has handled hundreds of complex senior assignments across from biotech, pharmaceutical, medtech, and diagnostics companies – ranging from investor backed (private equity and VC); service businesses; start-ups; and healthcare consultancies. Prior to joining Compass Carter Osborne, Tarquin held senior roles in life science boutique search firms. His career has also included successfully supporting AstraZeneca as Global Talent Scout for its Innovative Medicines and Early Development (IMED) Biotech Unit and biologics business units.
Tarquin has BEd (Hons) degree from Homerton College, University of Cambridge, He is an accomplished communicator who chairs industry panels on talent attraction and retention, EDI and careers. He has also been a regular guest on the Royal Pharmaceutical Society podcasts and written articles and blogs for the Pharmaceutical Physician Journal, Pharma Times, Phamafile and other industry publications.
Tarquin is an advisor to Little Bean Journey, a charity that helps companies provide fertility information and support as part of their benefits structure. He is also a volunteer and advocate for Beacon for Life Sciences, a rare disease charity, Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre and the school age STEM charity Form the Future.
