Compass Carter Osborne were mandated to source two key Senior Leadership Team members for Liaise Healthcare, a leading provider of specialist and complex care, by the in-coming CEO who was looking to re-shape their senior management team and drive the business towards its strategic goals. This included driving business development and referral activity across the organisation’s services.
Reason & Purpose:
To ensure that Liaise was at the very forefront of operational and commercial excellence within its sub-sector, a Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Commercial Officer were sought. Additionally, the business had relatively new PE investors and a new CEO who were looking to drive the business towards an exit, adding a further dynamic to the search. .

Search process / methodology:
Liaise were seeking to utilise CCO’s deep and extensive network and move at pace throughout the process.
CCO identified, approached and assessed suitable candidates within its known network. From here, CV’s and shortlist reports were quickly created and presented to the CEO and investors.
Preferred candidates were identified from the shortlist and fast-tracked through the process.
Outcome:
Two senior hires were made quickly and accurately. Mark Sherriff joined the business as Chief Commercial Officer and Emma Sperling joined the business as Chief Operating Officer.
