London, 3rd August 2026: Chris Coe joins Compass Carter Osborne as Director

Compass Carter Osborne (CCO), the UK’s preeminent retained executive search firm serving the independent healthcare, and global life sciences markets, is pleased to announce that Chris Coe has joined the business as Director, to lead the firm’s global Life Sciences Practice.

Chris brings with him an extensive global track record in life sciences executive appointments, spanning early-stage venture capital backed biotech start-ups, through to global private equity backed pharmaceutical and medtech market leaders. Over the course of his career, he has built an outstanding reputation for delivering C-suite and Board-level appointments across the biopharmaceutical and medical technologies and devices markets and is exceptionally well networked among the leadership talent that shapes the industry.

Prior to joining CCO, Chris gained executive search experience with Korn Ferry as Senior Client Partner in the Healthcare Practice, CT Partners as Co-Global Head of the Life Sciences Practice, and more recently at Kingsley Gate as Senior Partner of the Life Sciences Practice.

His arrival strengthens CCO’s capability to support investors and portfolio companies navigating some of life sciences’ most complex leadership challenges, at the exact moment demand for specialist, board-level search in the sector continues to accelerate.

Luke Osborne and Adam Carter, Senior Partners at CCO, commented:

“The continued growth of our Life Sciences practice reflects both the evolving needs of our clients and the increasing demand for specialist leadership expertise across the sector. We’re pleased to welcome Chris to the team. His experience, market insight and established network further strengthen our ability to support investors, founders and leadership teams as they navigate an increasingly dynamic market.

As we continue to invest in our Life Sciences capability, our focus remains on building long-term relationships and delivering the specialist insight and executive search expertise our clients expect from Compass Carter Osborne.”

“‘I’m delighted to be joining Compass Carter Osborne and to begin this exciting new chapter.

With its award-winning reputation in executive search and market-leading presence across the healthcare and life sciences sectors, CCO is a business I’ve long admired. I’m particularly excited by the opportunity to help grow and develop the life sciences practice.

As organisations continue to navigate increasingly complex leadership challenges, identifying exceptional executive and board talent has never been more important. I’m looking forward to partnering with clients as a trusted advisor, helping them build leadership teams that will shape the future of healthcare and life sciences.

I’m excited for what’s ahead and to be working alongside such a talented team.’

Chris’s appointment underscores CCO’s continued investment in building out its life sciences offering and reinforces the firm’s position as the go-to search partner for investors and operators across the sector, both in the UK and internationally.
